Did it stall right out or did you hit overboost? (spark and fuel cut off for a second)
How much boost are you running? Sounds like it's creeping a bit in the higher gears hitting overboost. Try turning it down just a hair and see if the problem goes away.

i tried to put a bleed on the tube coming out of the wastegate but when i went for a test drive there was alot of boost, 2nd gear was fine then in 3rd and 4th the engine stalled at 3500 rpm.
does anyone know why this is happening?

I thought that you were suppose to install the bleed next to the MAP sensor...or does location matter?

i have a aftermarket wastegate on my turbo already it set to put out 10 psi i was just playing around with a bleed. i dont have a boost guage on my car though i need to get one.
i think my car was over boosting cause the car would run after it cut out. so i was probably putting out more than 14 psi

there are different spots you can put MBC's like mine is in the line from the turbo compressor nipple to the waste gate with the waste gate silionoid pluged and orfice side to wastegate.

You could always check your codes after it happens. See if by chance you have a 45. If you do, then you can be sure it's overboost.
