Attempted to change it when I got the car over a year and a half ago. Tried with the turbo hot, cold, and warm. Soaked it in a couple types of penetrating oil for short and long periods of time. Tried heating it with it torch, hitting it with wax.

After all of these attempts the sensor is pretty messed up... "thumbs up So I am thinking its time to pull the wastegate housing. I assume this can be done in the car without too much trouble as long as I don't snap off any bolts....

Any other options I am not seeing???

Thanks

FYI, This is a 85 TI LeBaron....

Took almost 90min of torching till cherry red and alot of arm strength to get mine off with occasional air gun usage , was the original sensor from '91. It really sucked.

Ya, I haven't had the guts to get it that hot because it's still being driven. Although it's time to dig into it and do what needs to be done to get it apart....
