I have a bit of Oil in the hose from the IC to the TB and in the one from the airfilter to the turbo.

What do you guys think? Time for a S60 or T3/T4 Turbo?
Or can i go with it this season, and upgrade for the next?

Don't worry, that's normal to have some oil there! It doesn't necessarily mean that your turbo seals are leaking or should be repaired. I had oil there too before and after my turbo rebuild. I believe most of the oil is coming from PCV.

there was oil before i did the cone filter.

i saw it, when i took off the air box.

well i put a small piece of the stock air filter on this one small hose comming to the airbox (that one thats going to the cruise control), and let it just laying around , and some days later i saw that the small piece is full of oil und under the hose there was a bit of oil.

so maybe the oil in the lines is just from there?

I've a Green Filter (K&N cone style) too. What I made is a small stainless steel adapter with a nipple for the PCV hose between the air filter and stock turbo suction hose. No more oil leaks on the top of transaxle

so the hose that comes from the second turbo nipple on the lower part of the turbo is where the oil is comming from? well then maybe it wasnt just your pcv system, or it was just accumulated oil still in the hose from the pcv system.

id never stick my pcv hose back into my intake system. i just did it how gus did it with the downdraft style tube with a ss pad as a filter :big grin: however the hose from the cruise control should be in the intake somehow.

yes, that was how I had it earlier too (the Gus' style). Then I made the adapter to make less mess and less oil smell while idling still No negative effects in performance. Maybe it would make difference if I had too much blow-by or leaking PCV valve. Oil is pretty lo octane fuel!

i dont have any blow by or anything and mine will still leak oil into the air box (when i had one) im about to try gettin a 90 degree bend to put right there next to the air box and putting a breather filter on top so it doesnt leak anywhere :big grin:

i dont get any oil smell with my pcv downdraft system unless im sitting there holdin it to my nose :big grin:
