I know that my Daytona has a Garret T03 Turbo on it, I was just wondering if there were many differences between the T03 and a T3? I was planning on converting my car to T2 specs later and possably using a T3 at the same time.

a TO3 is what came on the TII cars. Only differences are the compressor housing has a neck on it that makes it alot better to hook up your intake/cone filter.

There are two different patterns of T3. The pattern that is used on a Chrysler 4 banger is a rectangle. Ford and the other companies use a different pattern.

TO3 is all Garrett Turbo I and Turbo II. I am not sure about Turbo III. Go to Gary's site ( www.thedodgegarage.com ) and check in the turbo database for more information.

Now my question, and please someone let me know soon, is it T03 or TO3? Meaning, the number zero, or the letter o. need to know for license plates for the car, which I should have already sent out to get

They're all the same, only difference being the housings ratio and fitment. All cars use different styles, some use 4 bolt, others 3 bolt.. some have integral bell housings, others have bolt on, some have a compressor outlet that the hose just slides over, others have a outlet which bolts to the manifold.. etc.. but the T03/04/etc is basicly, size. compressor wheels from 33 mm and up..

.. afaik! "thumbs up

Check out the garrett GT series, I beleive they make a NICE turbo with a exhaust housing that would bolt on to the dodge manifolds!

So basicly a T03 is a T3 that is built in a different configuration? as for the GT Series i will definetly keep them in mind when i build my drag car. (see my thread about the car i am considering building it from here is the link: http://www.turbododge.com/showthread...threadid=31775 )

I would have to believe that the GT series must be better flowing, as it's a newer design, but as far as the T3/T4 hybrids go... they are at a fraction of the price. I believe the GT25 is what we would normally use, and maybe the GT30 just from the short time I looked at them online. Problem is the price. Can't say what Turbosunleashed sells them for, but I seen them go for well over $2,000 at another place (non turbododge vendor). A T3/T4 can be had complete with swingvalve for less than $1k from Relentless and others, possibly, too.

Precision turbo & Engine/Limit engineering are good vendors, $550-775 (HUGE)
The only problem, their turbine housings are 3 bolts..

limit engineering (Limitengineering.com) does sell the GT turbos though, I am not sure how much they are asking however! hopefully less than a grand =/
