Don't go with that turbo in a street daytona...If you really want a good street turbo that will give you plenty of mid-top end power, look into the turbo I have or that many people like ken adler, and mike marra run. And *DO NOT* go cheap when it comes to a turbo. You may spend 300-500 for that one and think you got a deal. But do you know who rebuilt it?? Seeing as I had the WORST experience with rebuilt turbos I will ALWAYS buy brand new from turbonetics. I had a turbo that blew 3 separate times in 100 miles each, I lost around 400-600 dollars on shipping costs, oil changes, headgasket changes, headbolts, and a perfectly good turbo core.
To further help you....What do daytonas weigh, like 3k+ lbs?? That turbo will be a bitch to spool on the street, not to mention I think you need a custom header to fit that turbo on your car as the compressor housing hits the cylinder head.
The popular turbo these days seems to be the stock compressor housing with a big to4b or e wheel stuffed into it, complemented by the stock or stage 2 turbine wheel in the .63 A/R housing. Many seem to like the 50 trim, I picked the 46 trim pretty much because it was the smallest wheel size in the to4e family.
