a few questions about the compressor housing gasket....
1. Does the gasket have an effect on clearances between the fins and the housing?
2. Does any one know of some sort of chain store that would have these in stock, would maybe a import performance store have em?

I know Gary has them but I cannot wait. We have a tube of this rtv TYPE stuff. Its for our wood stove and is suppose to hold up to temps past 2000 degees. Could that work if the gasket doesnt effect clearances?
