my 89 common block needs a crank. its going to be a 2.2



im just giving up on the forged crank and am going cast. can i just order one from lets say Napa, autozone.........

if anyone has a 2.2 forged crank and want some cash let me know other than that just some info on the cast unit

You should be able to get a crank kit from the Parts stores.I know you could a couple of years ago because I was going to go that way but found a place to get mine ground. cheaper.

Yeah that's a little pricey,but it's too bad someone here won't help you out. I sold a Perfect cast 2.2 CB crank for $50 but I don't have any more for sale. I have a 89 CB Forged in my TC but I'll probably sell it later as I want to convert to 2.5. It won't be anytime soon though---Sorry. BTW you really don't need a forged crank in a CB.

why can't you get your crank ground? is it broken?, if it just spun a bearing or something like that a machine shop can grind it to install undersize bearings, also they can weld the journals and grind them to original size
