Ok all, question...

I just picked up a spearco 221 core intercooler. HAs the inlet and outlet on both sides. I want to install it with a turbo 2 radiator...IE, remove the stock intercooler, and run the hoses thru there (who needs AC!!) so.....the angled bracket on the front of most of our cars, any idead on mounting the cooler wth that bad boy there???Will it need to be modded???To make matters worse, i have a baron, and i will be keeping the doors on the lights.

Thanks all.

Joe,
You're welcome to spin by and take a look at the Spearco in the nose of the tan GTC. I believe the core number for mine is a 178, the assembly number escapes me right now. I was able to put it in and keep the A/C and cut nothing. I didn't even have to remove the nose!

Finishing up the piping, gotta get to the

I tried to post a pic, but the file is too big, I'll resize it

Steve, does the tan car have the flip doors still, or is this a clone of the sledge??? Are you using the T-1 rad as well??? I wont be at the next meeting tho. If you have any picts, it would help. I will not be installing it in a while since the floors on the baron are my first order of business.

I have some pics of that intercooler in my Shelby Charger here:

I moved the rad over a little to make room for the piping.

Think your floors are bad? Check out mine!

Yes, the tan car still has all the original headlamp doors and such. I didn't remove anything to install it. I did swap to the T-1 radiator. Sorry, I do not have any pictures of it.

I've seen several cases where guys are scrapping their GLHS's and people get angry at them for doing it. Until you've actually seen how bad an L-body can rust you can't appreciate the carnage.

Here is a couple of pics of mine. I made brackets that mount it to the bumper. I used a narrower 90 Daytona radiator and put the L body radiator end tank on it so it wouldn't have that real tall filler neck.
