Thank you for not flying off the handle and saying something like: "Dont tell me what to do, Ill do what I want to and Ill smart off to moderators too!"

Naah this place isnt super sophisticated or anything like that but Ive seen many times when someone will come over from a Honda board or something and start shooting their mouths off and typing a one sentance post that is 20 lines long.... Its just plain annoying. Quite a few people in here are older and more mature and I know that stuff gets under their skin. I am only 25 but it gets to me too a little. I didnt want to come off as all high and mighty and crap cause heck, I myself dont like to use capital letters. Thanks for your reasonable response. On with the thread.

BTW NolanBowlin, welcome! Nice Shadow. Personally, I love the stock crabs. They are classy, dont look out of place on an 80's car and they add to the sleeper effect.

He was being sarcastic in case you didn't catch that!!!!! I agree with you though, we at least need to spell sort of correct and minimize the use of capital letters.

nice car, i have a white 88 es that is currently getting a 87 T2 motor swaped in.

read the dodge garage ALOT! read it often, memorize it! it is our bible.

why did she quit driving the car? might make it easier for use to figure out what was wrong with it

also... get a MBC and turn it up to 12 psi or so and you will smoke all your friends.

I'm pretty jealous of you, did you have to pay anything for the car? Or did your parents just hand it over?

Me being 16 and between jobs at the moment, it's very hard to afford a car. My parents are cheap but are teaching me finantial responsibility (i kant spel) I have to pay for EVERYTHING on my car, i'm very lucky I can even garage mine.

Good luck with the project, have fun and be safe!

What he said...

Another good point... Most of the folks that know what they are doing are older. They tend to "shy" away from the topics that hurt their feeble brains to read. (hmmm that could mean.. why would I want someone that isn't even smart enough to communicate properly to have MORE hp and be a BIGGER danger to society )

He's a sixteen year old who's been e-mailing me and I've been politie and he's stated he'll be buying a S2000 in a year or so to me. Now, I know I'm no overachiever in finances, but I'd bet the farm this is a concoction and downright fabrication. I've been politiely telling him how those cars are "topped out" pretty much from the factory no matter what the Asian guy in the movie makes you believe (yes, I've seen it. It's a wonderful comedy and all your non-car buff friends will wonder why your laughing so hard...). He's, just a sixteen year old with a free car with a turbo spouting off. Just my two cents... And, I'm college education (well, almost finished and it sure didn't get me a dang job...) and aced all grammer and writing, but if I don't feel like punctuation or spelling that day. Deal with it. This is also one of those days, so it can't be that bad. I have a lawnmower transaxle calling my name in pain I gotta go...

No i dont like fast and the furious bull crap. I like the idea of 4 doors and grandma looking car that is fast like my spirit r/t. I would rather drive my r/t than my bigblock dart its just more fun and it definitly beats any honda with an chromed coffee can and a wing and a milk jug spraypainted blue with nosssssss stickers on it trying to and does convinces his other ricer friends at school. And i listen closely to u guys on this list for the fact that u are older and u have a lot of knoledge that i can use to help me. I just didnt mean to make anyone mad by saying cuz

He's not mad, just pointing things out so its easier to read, thats all. As for what your saying, thats awesome, we need more 16 yr olds driving sleepers, keeps the cops away from us and looking at all the bling bling cars-I mean all cars, not just imports. Thats why I drive a minivan, I have beaten and embarassed so many people it hurts to laugh anymore,

s2000?

The block on the s2000 is weak. It is an N/A engine but has turbo capabilities. What I want a reply about is do you think it’s possible to get 400 hp out of an s2000 spending under $15,000? I think that it is and I know that if it isn’t we are going to try.

My cousin and I think that with the s2000’s 240 hp N/A engine we can get 400 hp with a turbo, cam shafts, and other small modifications such as computers and fule related items. (I’m going out on a limb). The record for the same block is 500hp, new cams, headers, and pistons (turbo) where some of what where changed.

We like the s2000 because it handles good and revs at nearly 10,000 RPM and i think its sexy as hell. We like to run auto-x and drift so a mustang isn’t really what I’m looking for but I sure love them mustangs. Good luck and write back I would enjoy hearing more about your cars and about you helping me.

This is going to be a street car, i still plan on keeping the shadow and turning it into a full bread racing car. I'm going to start racing with SCCA so i might have the chanch to go to very popular tracks like Las Vegas Motor Speedway. That what i want an s2000 for. I know this is a turbo dodge fourm and most of you will more than likly disagree with me but thats what i was planing on doing if i have the money.

Any more feedback i would love to hear.

Yea, fuel related items are a pretty small modification, you don't really need them to make 400 horsepower

$15,000 to make over 400 horsepower. If you are doing the work all yourself then definitely. If you are gonna have someone else do all the internal work on the engine, then expect to pay around that.
