My brother got his turbo, manifold, and down pipe from a guy used. The turbo is internally gated and in "stock" form allows 14psi. My brothers motor woulnt handle more than 7 psi w/ his stock internals. If he gets a granger valve can we lower the boost to 6-7psi?

I thought I read some where that you can but before he orders one I figured I'd ask. Thanx for any info my brother appreciates it and so does his motor

No. Turning the g-valve down will only open the g-valve sooner, but will not open the wastegate sooner. If you want lower boost, you must change the wastegate.

I say let it blow, and then build the crap out of it.

i assume the motor is not a mopar? gus's site had some info on adjusting the arm of the wastegate actuator if the arm has an adjusting nut and threaded rod. if not, the site shows how to make it adjustable. www.gusmahon.org

That is correct sir! It's a Honda B16A in my bro's Del Sol. AKA the torquless wonder I just found out it's a 16G mitsu off a first gen DSM. No shaft play and it looks clean.

It's funny before I logged on and read this I told my brother abought Gus's mod. it looks like it's the easiest way out.

Thanks man

His car doesnt run to bad it's just week off the line my civic ex will match him in 1st but getting into second the dohc takes over. He should run 13's pretty easy with the kit @ 7-8psi. His car is killer on traction and is got alot of carbon fiber to lighten the load.

Well thats enough honda babel for the week! Thanks again
