making the vent on grainger..

Wondering how you all have done it. I drilled a fairly larger hole, put epoxy over it with the pin in center, and pulled pin out once the epoxy dried. Didn't have a small enough drill bit, and couldn't find one. Let me know...thanks!

Go to your local hobby shop. They have very small drills.

I got some .020 drill bits from Grainger when I picked up my valves. Got a few of them in case I broke one, but haven't broken any yet.

Hobby shops have "pin vise" drill bit that can get really small. Like .012 I think. I got a teeny mandrel for my dremel and a few bits (they were like .75 cents a piece) and that worked out just fine.

I heat up a pin with a match, then shove it through the fitting on the valve. This requires a nylon/plastic barb, ofcourse.
