could someone please explain this thing about having the bov IN the airbox? how does this work? and what are its advantages?
Chrysler began installing them in '88 T-I cars. Your car is a T-II, which never got a stock BOV.

The entire reason for them using them at all was to reduce "noise" (read: compressor surge), thus they put them in the airbox to help keep "noise" down.

I don't have a part number, but go to any junkyard and get any airbox from a '90 or newer turbo Chrysler and it'll have the BOV.

As far as appearance differences.....you've never seen a '90+ stock airbox have you? That's not a great picture, and that's also not how the stock BOV is plumbed, but I had installed a CSX intercooler too.....

You'll notice the airbox lays flat compared to the earlier style. The BOV is molded into the aitbox itself.

Here's another PICTURE to give you an idea about what I mean when I say the airbox lays flat. (Although by this pic, I have the DSM BOV installed....you can see its filter.)

That's almost exactly how a T-IV would look....

Sorry for not being more specific, I was talking about DSM BOV.
I have one here that was bought new a while back, but the guy I got it from couldn't tell me what the part number was. I'll post a pic when I get to the house.

The valve itself can be clearly seen here:

The circuit for extending the life of stock, or Bosch BOV's is the last picture on the page.
