new bushings in turbo, how much will it tighten up with oil?

new bushings in a turbo, but lots of shaft play, once it has pressure how much of the slack will be taken up?

Sounds like the housing is worn , there should be virtually no play . You can get oversize bushings , or a new center section . I've seen centers with bearings on ebay for under a hundred dollars .
