Garrett IC hose on a Mitsu turbo?

I've got an 89 Spirit with the 2.5 Turbo and Mitsu turbo.

A while back I had found an 89 Daytona T2 car in the junkyard, and got the lower IC hose, among other things.

It's almost time for me to add an intercooler to my Spirit, so I want to use this Daytona lower IC hose. I'll fabricate something for the upper hose.

But how big is the difference between the stock Garrett and Mitsu compressor outlets? Can I just clamp down on the hose hard, or do I need some kind of rubber hose spacer for it?

It should work just fine as-is .

Both turbos have a 2" outlet and have an angled outlet to clear the cylinder head. The T2 lower hose will work fine.
