After much trial and error I have figured out I have a weak wastegate actuator on my 1986 GLHS. I have shimmed it 1/4" and still cannot pull over 10psi. I need to replace it and found a used T3 one used. The owner of a lightly used adjustable actuator gave me a description below but it did not come from a Dodge. Can anyone tell me if it will bolt up??

Thanks!!!
Mike P

I'm not sure if it will bolt up or not...I can tell you though that it came of a 60 trim T3 turbo with a compressor a/r ratio of .60 and a turbine a/r ratio of .48...I hope this helps! Good luck! -Lincoln

It might work. It probably won't bolt up but you might be able to get it to work. I've heard of some people carefully drilling out the spot welds that hold the cannister to the bracket and swapping cannisters. You may be able to use a log-style TI actuator on yout TII bracket and have it work. You just have to avoid damaging the diaphram in the larger cannister when drilling the welds and then attaching it somehow. When Supercrackerbox moved I went through his turbo stuff and found that a Ford wastegate bracket is close to ours but would require some tweaking to get it to work. It's cannister was about the same size as our large cans. Good luck! Worse case senario is that you have to break down and buy a large TII wastegate actuator. You can usually pick them up for $50 used or upwards of $100 new.
