I just had a 89 2.2 completly rebuilt. Its now a 2.5. The computer was replaced with a MoPar 2.5 Performance. Prior to replacing the wastegate the turbo would overboost past 15psi and then cut out. It was blowing off hoses. Now with the new wastgate its releasing the pressure and won't boost past 6psi.

I'm also looking for someone in So. Ca. who REALLY knows these cars to put their hands on it and direct me on the proper steps to finish this job properly.
