Well, my plans are right now, is to get my new clutch in, 3" exhaust, (side exit), and new cal for 11 psi. Then when the tranny goes, or the engine, I'll convert to TII, and A555 it, also I'll send my cal in, and get it boosted up to 18-20 lbs.

Sounds like you have a plan...what kind of turbo are you gonna be using, T3? S60? 20 PSI is alot of boost from a stock T3, that's why I am asking. And you're gonna be putting a new fuel pump at those levels, regardless of what people tell you, any boost pressure over 18psi is not recommended with a stock fuel pump, don't just use +40s, you won't have the fuel flow. Yes, many have got away with 18 and stock fuel pump, but when your fuel pump quits at 20psi, you will be very sorry you didn't just swap in 255 when the injectors, etc., went in. They're not expensive, and assuming everything isn't rotting under there, dropping the tank and replacing the pump isn't a big deal (granted I've never dropped the tank on a TD, I've done it twice on a blazer that I had-it can't be much different).

My plans for my upgraded TII conversion includes a stock rebuilt TII turbo, 3 Bar MAP sensor, 3 Bar Cal, Walbroo 255 fuel pump, +20's, T2/T3 Clutch, FMIC, Ported Ex. Manifold, 3" SV, 3" downpipe, plus my exhaust listed above, TII Rods, AFPR, and a 52 MM throttle Body. However, I might just run a full 3" exhaust, and 11-12 psi on my stock motor, and buy a later TII daytona to be my weekend fun/FAST car. Not sure yet, as my 86 Tona will be my DD. But when I do rebuild, I might as well go TII correct?

You're probably gonna want +40s instead of +20s, but it sounds like you'll have a pretty quick car at 18psi

Yeah, I'm hoping for mid 13's on street tires, but low 13's on slicks. But, if I have the power to make a low 13 second car, then it won't matter, cause I love going from about a 20 MPH roll anyways.

84 turbo Z stock shortblock 2.2 log with 1987 swirl head (smaller chamber = more compression, probably well over 9), zener diode, not intercooled, stock everything....
I raised the fuel pressure by "smashing" the regulator -- an old "GUS" trick
It detonates BAD in the hot TX summers, so I've retarded the timing to compensate... Also I'm running the Champion equivalent of R42's (sorry forgot the champion number, I grew up w/chevys) wayy cold plugs. its kinda doggy pre-boost, as the timing is sensitive. If I set the timing so the engine is peppy down low, it detonates. Also, the G head computers cant handle the detonation characteristics of the swirl heads, but mine has worked pretty ok.

All in all, I've got lots working against me - compression, computer mismatched with cylinder head (too much advance), and non intercooled.

I've changed the headgasket once in the 3 years I've had it.
