What do you have to do to make a t-4 comp housing on a stock manifold and stock head? See, going with a T3/t4 hybrid is alot cheaper than going with a super 60 or 70. Help?

I welded a couple of elbows on the compressor output to clear the head.

practically nothing if you are using a B series cover. Lot's of room to clear the head, just need a 45* bend

I used a 2 rubber elbows from a RX7 Turbo II car, perfect bend and fit. As for direct bolt on, I had to modify my coolant line, I had one for a stock garrett but wouldn't clear the huge compressor so I made some elbows etc from pipe at Home Depot and then hooked up to the braided line.

Yes that too as I remember, you need an 90 degree elbow at the turbo itself for the Braided line to clear.

then you will need a 90* bend straight off the compressor to clear the head, and another to get back on track

would be neat to hear any facts/theory on what an E wheel in a B housing changes as far as the E wheels characteristics

I'll get more info from my shop www.monster-turbo.com , I was at the time deciding if I should go with a T03 or T04E cover, my shop suggested the T04B as I would have a T4 family housing matching to a T4 wheel, but would get much much better efficiency rather than the T03 especially top end but would not sacrifice much lag at all, compared to the T04E housing, its a compromise on both ends, for my street car its perfect.

They had a customer of theirs make 450WHP+ with this compressor setup. . .on a different application however, some DOHC 16V import
