My buddy has a TD05 off a talon that he will sell me cheap. Would it be worth it to change the compresor housing on my TE04H? Also, wouldn't I need to get the turbo re-balanced?

thanks

Honestly, I wouldn't bother. The turbine housing is sooo restrictive on the stock TE04H that any compressor upgrade would almost be worthless. I know that TU sells a TE04H upgrade with a 15g wheel and a ported housing. It's supposed to flow an extra 30% over stock. But it's still not flowing up to the capability of the Garretts.

But that's only an opinion.

My bad Chris. I have mixed up my venders again. I meant FWDPerformance.

My apologies.

Heck yea. The parts are already installed on the turbo and looks good. If I had the knowedge and ability to add a pic, I would. Thanks again. I can't wait until I get both 89's running again. Look forward to more orders in the future.
