take off oil and coolant lines.. turbo intake/out hoses.. pop off exhaust.. 15mm stubby wrench and regular 15mm wrench and turbo is out in about an hour..

if still has the turbo support bracket, youll need ratchet/15mm socket.

Itll help to pull passenger side axle (adds about 30 mins total)..

I replaced my turbo the first time and didnt pull the axle, instead i brought it up over the top of the transmission.. wasnt too hard to do- this was before i knew anything about these cars... id defeintly take the axle out and take turbo out the bottom next time.

Also, it may be helpful to take off front moto mount, and swing engine backwards, so that the turbo is more open from the bottom.

It could be easier to pull the head, but then you have to disconnect even more items, replace gaskets and new headbolts so youre already $40 down. May be worth the headache though. Especially if the headgasket may be gettin a bit old.

You must be superman to break any of the mounting nuts loose with a stubby wrench.
I pulled the mitsu off of my spare manifold awhile back and had to double wrench it and stand on the manifold!

put the stubby wrench on nut, , and then use something to hit it.. i.e 3/8" extentions and a hammer.

that does have a blow off valve its in the air box , the way these are set up you cant get the intake manifold off because the exhaust manifold blocks access to the bolts pulling the head is much easier because youll probly open a can of worms somwhere along the line a bolt will break or a line and having the head off will make this much easier to deal with
