That's what I was thinking this whole time through the post. That crappy log intake manifold is probably one of the biggest, if not the biggest, restrictions right now. Those manifolds can only flow about 14psi and then they start backing up the air. And to get a Lebaron Vert in the 11's, good luck. Those things are quite heavy. It's possible with A:Lot's of power, B:Lot's weight reduction. Or probably a lot of both. Good luck though.

to run 11's and being on a budget dont mix....you also dont NEED to upgrade to a a555.....you need t2 rods,forged pistons,better turbo,intercooler,fuel systems,you can keep the stock crank as long as its in good shape....wouldnt hurt to have headwork done w/ bigger valves...list goes on....but to be totally honest with you take it one step at a time...build a good foundation....then go from there....i started out in the 15's then gradually each summer worked my way to 13's now hopfully this summer i get 12's.....so good luck....
