Did it, and it is worth the time and the effort. Go here and look at my car.

That's a cool omni. I'm saving my money and want to know if I have to get all stock tII parts of if i can just buy perfomance intake/exust manifolds and turbo TII parts? If so what turbo? I want about 350-400whp after i'm done. also i want a bov. I like the way they sound so I would want a loud one or a tunable one so I can make it louder or softer. Thanks for the help.

Thanks! Save quite a bit of money cause your goal will require quite a bit. You will also need to address the cylinder head (porting intake and exhaust). Most of the stuff you need can be bought through this forum (well the for sale section.) I do have a couple of turbo II intakes but I haven't considered selling anything that I have yet. Also going on vacation next week. Keep us posted.

When I get back from Fl. I'll look to see what I have and I'll get back to you. Won't be till the 14TH of Feb. If you cannot wait that long, just look in the F/S section in this forum. There are usually turbo II stuff in there.

If you're not dead set on a 2 piece T2 intake, the later ('88+) T1 intake is basically the same. The benefit to the late T1 intake is that they're very common so they're pretty easy to find in junkyards and on Ebay.
