i didnt mind the stage 2 on a 2.2
full spool(18-20psi) by 37-3800rpm, had about 5-7 psi by 2800rpm and just laid you back from there on. would still waste the tires off if i wasnt careful. i opened up the head slightly at the int/ex gasket, that was about it.
this was with a to4e wheel (super 46) in stock cover.

there isnt much hp gain in the top end between stage 1 and 2 is there?
just those few seconds where a v-8 thinks hes gonna pull a fast one on you, right?

Actually there's a bigger jump between 1-2 than there is between 2-3
With the proper compressor attatched the stage 2 turbine is capable of 50 HP over the stock stage 1 wheel.
