boost problem

i bought a boost gauge and i suck into and blow into it works fine so i hooking it up to the vac line coming off the tb and just get vac no boost, then hook it up to the vac coming off the waste gate and just get vac no boost, try all the other lines i could get vac off but no boost, i tried all the 3 vac lines running right next to my vavle cover thats rapped up with 1 big line, didnt get no boost , just vac out of all of them i havnt tried cutting the big one thats runs with the other 3 lines because i dont kno what it goes to , but the turbo is spooling and working when u rev it up it spools away anyone have any ideas

Hook it up to the intake manifod, any of the nipples or hoses comming off the intake manifold will show you boost and vacume. Also...just in case your checking for boost by reving, you most likely need to be driving the car to make any boost. Either that or your not getting any boost to the intake...ie major boost leak.

Try to connect the gauge as close to the manifold as possible. This way you will avoid restrictors, check valves, etc. Secondly, you will only see boost while you're DRIVING. If you still see no boost, then check to see if your turbo outlet hose is connected and sealed correctly. If still no boost then you have a problem. On the control side, maybe your boost solenoid is stuck shut or your wastegate is somehow open (but that would still show a few psi of boost).
