Anyone know how much boost a stock 2g mitsu eclipse/eagle talon BOV holds? I heard numbers from 12-16 psi. Looking to run 14psi on my T2 Shelby Z and wondering if this will work for me.

Thanks,

Ive heard a more conservative 15psi, but keep in mind this is an all plastic unit.. and if the dsm boys are crying that the 1g bov is junk, you can imagine what they are saying about the 2g bov.. 14psi should work fine, but i wouldnt run more than 15 through that bov myself.

When I had my 2g, I ran 17psi on the stock T-25 and the boost held 17 until 5800 where it would drop to 14-15psi at ~7200. It's much better just to go w/ the 1G version, which I've run 20+psi off of with no leaking at all.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna give it a try. If not I'll go looking for a 1g unit. How can I tell if it starts leaking boost?
