Hi I have a 85 S/C with a 2.5l minus balance shafts, 20. over mahle's, G casting head, 89 roller cam, modified powerstroke intercooler, no BOV (saving up the $$$ for one) A-413 mvb and a T3/T4 turbo with 3" exhaust no muffler. The problem I have is I cant keep the intercooler pipes on and the I cant get it to stop overboosting, it his up to 19 psi. I hits the safety cut out, I only want to hit about 12 psi for now. I'm saving up for the TU computer.

thanks matt

if you are blowing off intercooler hose, then you probably blew off the vacume line going to the wastegate.

I agree. try throwing a zip tie on there, or a new piece of vacuum line that fits more tightly.

What are you using for boost control, 19 psi, be carefull, melt city.
Does your intercooler piping have a lip to help hold the hose on. IF not, superglue and t-bar type clamps will stop it.

Yuck, ditch the factory setup and buy an MBC, these turbos flow. You will be safer that way also, less resistant to spikes. I have mine set for 12 and it hits 13 the odd time, pretty good in my books. If your getting Pauls cal, depending on how you go, you will still need an MBC. Hes setting mine for street 16, then anything above that I need race fuel so my MBC will be set for 16 on the street,
