can i use garret t1 lines on a converted t2 ?? i was following the dodge garage and when i was ready to install the lines the wastegate can was in the way of the coolant line.

It can be done. If you can get two of the lines from the thermostat box to the turbo, you can cut them apart and put it back together with a section of good hose (silicone if available) using two of the same ends. I'm pretty sure I used two of the ends that go to the head.
