OK peoples I decided to go from my TII to a S60 with the super s60 trim, now I will be running ported head intake exhaust and 2.5 exhaust, and a 24x12x2.5 FMIC all at 18psi boost, now I wanna be pushing high hp but want it street able since its my daily drivers, I heard that the .63 is def the way to go power wise but it takes a bit to spool and not as good as a street ride, so I should stick with the .48 any opinions here?

I have no expeience with the larger housing, so I couldn't tell you how its spool is. I have been seen some of the veterans here state that lag can be a good thing for streetability when one reaches higher power levels. If your exaust is nice and free flowing and your head and manifold are nicely ported, it may offset the lag of the .63 housing a bit.

One thing I recall discussed on here is a d-valve to try to combat lag a bit, which was essentially a check valve plumbed into the intake tract shortly befor the throttle body, so the engine could draw air in with less effort when not in boost, then is closed during boost. A search should turn up a few good threads on the topic

You didn't say auto or stick but regardless, the .63 is the way to go. I ran the .48 in my mini and it would sign off around 5000 rpm. With the .63, pulls all the way to redline and then some. Lag is a bit worse but not annoying to say the least, and with Paul's new cal coming, the lag should be less. When moving, theres no comparison, its just like the old turbo, it goes with authority. Go with the .63

With the .63 in my 2.5 shadow the boost still starts to come on at around 21-2200. I do have 3" exh. from the turbo back though.

Is it a 2.2 or a 2.5 motor? along with stick or auto. You wrote TII, so one may assume it is a 2.2 stick?
If it is a 2.5, IMHO go w/the .63 scroll.
A true S60 turbo will come w/a .63 scroll.

if you want high hp, you want the .63
my old turbo with .63 stage 2 wheel would have full spool (18-20 psi)by about 37-3800 rpm, enough to lay a patch, but still heep the tires on the rims. lol
this was 2.2 5 speed.
