hey all Our turbo flangs have a notch missing from the top, and I have notice alot of good and cheaper turbos around but they are notch less on the flange can I just cut that into the turbine flange?? and still be ok I figure thats all that was done to ours

Nothing a bench grinder can't fix. many TD guys swapping an older Garret T1 turbo in place of the tiny Mitsu turbo do this.
