Ok here's my current setup

-89 daytona, with 88 2.2 turbo1 engine
-T-1 computer
-Stock Intercooler
-turbo 2 injectors
-adj. fpr
-Mitsu turbo
-g-valve set to 15/16 psi
-2.5" mandrel exhaust w/high-flow cat & a cherry bomb
-Insulated knock sensor
-Removed A/C
-a/413 with extra clutches in front and rear high volume fluid pump/ lines
(the damn tranny cost more than the car!!!)

Im sure theres more but I cant think of it all right now.

Anyway I recently purchased a rebuilt upgraded garrett T2, with super60 compressor .48 a/r exhaust.
At the same boost level what kind of gains will I see? Is spooling this turbo going to be much different?.
I know right now If I have it in 2nd and floor it when doing 60km/h My tires will totally rip loose, lol people are like what the hell is in that thing?

I guess the main question I have is: will the car run fine with this new turbo without making many other changes? Or will I need to open up the head a bit?
I guess the biggest thing holding me back right now is my lame a$$ computer.
Anybody have a suggestion for a daily driver? I'd like to hit 18-20psi occasionally.
Maybe a trade?
I have an 86 glh mopar performance computer, 2 88 T1 computers (1 for 5-spd, 1 for auto)
Thanks fellow speed addicts.

Car should run fine. Running 15/16 psi on stock t2 injectors may or may not be an issue with the larger turbo. I would check my egt/o2 readings to make sure I'm not leaning out. You can run with the head as is. The Exhaust housing on your new turbo should not create very much lag, spoolup may be affected a bit since the mitsu is so small and spools so fast, but the boost should come on harder (harder kickin the pants if you know what I mean). Just becareful not to lean the motor out. As for computers TU makes some pretty good custom cals for whatever you want to run. They'll set the computer up for whatever you like and I've heard many good things about them. Check out their page www.turbosunleashed.com. Have fun.
