i have a turbo that was given to me in a trade, he said it was a stock turbo with a grand national compressor on it, and he also stated that it was a s70 turbo, i really have no clue on it so i thought i would ask here, let me know your thoughts on this - dave

The grand national Buick V6 should be a .60 or .63 A/R compressor. Depending on what his definition of "stock" is, it could in fact be just about anything. If you have some photos and part numbers you should post them and more can be learned. If you cant post pictures, email them to kanda@eagleone.net and I will post them for you.

i finally got around to looking at the turbo, i dont see any tag on it for part numbers, only things i notice is that there is .42 stamped on the inside of the outlet on the compressor housing, the compressor wheel appears to be more agressive also, i will take some pics and upload them to my webserver with links here shortly - Dave

not really sure if these pictures will help at all, there is no tag on the backside of the compressor, one pic is of the .42 stamping and the other is the compressor housing/wheel pic.
