In order to see 18psi in 1st & 2nd I've got the DSBC set just so. Well in 3rd and up I overboost... I've done everything short of ripping that turbo back off and porting it's big a$$. So here's where I'm at> I've got Every washer that came with the TypeH-RFL in there- can I remove some to use the BOV as a bleed for excessive boost creep without overspinning the turbo for a specific load. Not worried about the noise it'll cause just trying to peak the boost just under the stage 5 cal without cutout or killing the turbo. Anyone try this with good or bad results? Thanks -J

Personally, I wouldn't bleed the boost with a BOV, but I don't see why it would hurt for short periods of time. It can't be worse than running 25psi on a stock Garrett. Lots of people do this without even knowing it!

What turbo and exhaust are you running? What intercooler?

Umm, you should not need any washers in your BOV. Mine started to leak at 20 PSI so I threw 1 washer in it and it's held 22 all day long for me.

t3/t04e 50trim 2.5"sw 2.5"dp Catco high flow (see through) 2.5" to bumper no muffler. Spearco FMIC (big) 2.25" in/out 52mm TB custom mandrel steel pipes w/ minimal bends. waitning to hear what the cutout voltage is on this cal. in a different thread, may just diode it anyway. I'm getting too used to 18psi and this motor was built for a lot more anyways.
P.S. when the catco comes out and the test pipe goes back in, although not much of a difference in flow it won't have that turbulence, and the problem will probably get worse.

Don't use the computer boost control, just use an MBC. My TU cal is set for 2 psi settings but I don't want to hook up the switch so I am still running my MBC.

I am just using MBC- bypassed the wg solenoid completely. Vac/boost is sourced from the manifold currently but I was thinking about pulling boost source from the nipple on the compressor housing... possibly for better response/ drivability and more accurate control, as the pressure won't be after the FMIC's psi or so drop.

What wastegate are you using? Sounds like the wastegate isn't big enough to bleed off the pressure. Maybe its time to step up to an external unit.
