I have the stock mitsu turbo, and need a gasket. Can I buy one someplace other than the dealer? (That is, if they don't have one.)

If you are like me and couldn't wait for one to be shipped, go to Advance Auto and pick up a sheet of gasket material. Trace around your oil drainback tube and cut it out.

I had one from a Fel-Pro head set I bought a long time ago (don't worry, I didn't use the headgasket from that set!) - I just installed it today, its only about 2 years since I've had it. So Fel-Pro does make one, I don't know if they sell it seperate or if any places stock them.

most places dont list much in the way for turbos... if you look up gaskets tho, and look at everyone of them, sometimes you get lucky... Or ask the parts guy if you can rifle through his stack of gaskets, you'd be surprised how often I had to do this since most shops just throw 'em in a pile and finding anything is a pain.
