On my son's CSX-T the wastegate actuator arm came loose, I reattached it to the swingvalve arm. Now when ever he gets on it boost shoots to 17 lbs and hits overboost. So I installed a grainger between the manifold source and the actuator, even with the G-valve all the way unscrewed it still hits overboost and the boost didn't even drop. I checked the swing valve arm it's secure and the flapper moves. Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Guy Douglas

Sounds like the actuator may be bad. Gently put air pressure to it and see if it moves.
