Clipped wheel

I got a question on clipping. I know clipping the wheel in the .48 housing doesn't do anything, but what about in the .63 housing? I've been thinking about getting a trannybuster TU 50 trim but keep the .63 stage 1 housing I have and just have the wheel clipped. Will this be good?
Also, would there be any decent gains from going to a super 70 w/.63 housing no clip to a 50 trim to4e w/.63 clipped on a already 300 WHP setup?

clipping the turbine wheel increases flow at the cost of effeciency. So choose your modification wisly.

At 300hp, I'm not sure going above a full S70 would be terribly benefical. The Buick Grand National guys use their .63 turbines and 70mm compressors for up to 400hp. Also, the even smaller S60 can make 300 crank hp at reasonable boost levels without too much trouble.

Well there's a big difference in displacement, so comparing turbo's for a 3.8 V6 is quite different. In fact, 400 HP is nothing to them....that like throwing on a grainger, getting a better IC and exhaust a voila 400 HP.
300 crank, but I'm already at about 350 crank HP.
