I just re-did the vacuum line for my '90 2.5 Shadow with a vacuum block on the manifold, and its over boosting like crazy in 2nd gear and up. I did not use all the original restrictors that were on the original vacuum lines tho, coudl this be the problem?? I tried closing and opening the g-valve all the way but the car still boost like crazy !!

If it is, can some one post detailed pics (or send pics to marco.vincenzi@gmail.com) of their vacuum lines and where the restrictors shoudl be installed and can tell me which of their lines goes to where? I tried looking on thedodgegarage.com for their vacuum diagram but I dont think they show all the restrictors in the diagram.. damn it!

Also, the way that i have the g-valve set up is in between the waste gate and the turbo... with the end of the g-valve with the hole towards the waste gate.

...help... this is the only thing stopping me from upgrading to a bigger turbo and finishing installing my 3"" SS exhaust.

Hijack! I need the same thing...I think after redoing all my vac lines with steelbraid, I left an restrictor off as well...had some overboosting/spiking going on...now have lumpy/uneven idle...

I installed a vac. manifold without restrictors. Nor problems at all. I have 5 lines and that's it. AFPR-Manifold, BOV-Manifold, Wastegate-MBC-Manifold, MAP Sensor-Manifold, Boost Gauge-Manifold.

Here's a thread with set-ups: Installing a Vacuum Block
