I think it will be too much for the log manifold. If your installing an intercooler, its gonna be PITA to do so why not just install a later one piece intake?

turbovanman: this is my second car and just looking to make a few extra hp with it. the car already has the old school dc intercooler setup, just looking for some more horsies wich would be nice. i do have a spare s70 that i am not using. so i thought i'd ask to see if if would be much of a agin or if i am wasting time with that idea -Dave

i think it would be to much turbo if you plan to keep the dc set-up.

The IC won't flow what a S70 will, so your only hurting spool up. I would go S60 first. Also the best thing you add to a DC IC kit is the intake. FAR better than a stock log, it actually has plenum. PORT IT! it is tough but cut down around the injector bung, lots to be had!!!!!!!!!!!! Also use a 52mm TB and GLHS overlay. Hard to such even stock T3 air through a 42mm straw.

i guess i never really thought of trying to really mod a log car. looks like this is a good time to start. i'd really like to find a rampage to start with instead of having 2 GLH's. even thou it is cool to own 2 silver glht's i might use it as a donor car when i find a decent ramp or a charger, until then i will just see what options i have in modding it as is. i have seen some pictures of a ported out dc log mani and it looks to open it up quite a bit. i am going to wait on that until i have a reason to pull the head off thou. i was thinking of porting out the exhaust mani and the intake mani at the same time. looks like i will have to watch e bay for the larger Tb for it. unless anyone knows where to get one from? i sure dont,. thanks -Dave

pope are you suggesting i use GLHS electronics and run a standard T2 52mm Tb?

Dave,
Is that the same type intercooler Todd has on his GLH? If so, I believe his car was good for 12's with the log.
