Zip ties, as the hose should fit kinda snug in the first place.

I've got every vac. connection on my car done like this and have had 0 problems with them blowing apart even at 27 psi. Just be careful not to bind the wire down so tight that it cuts the hose.
The only disadvantage I've found to doing it this way is that ends of the wire are sharp after you cut them off and it's pretty easy to get scratched up if you have to work around them.

When a zip ties has been clipped off tight, and a bare hand passes by, it will draw blood too! For me, wire twisted and curled back into itself with a needle nose is best. Or, still better - find the little 3 prong spring clips that don't twist over and fight you when you grab em with pliers - reusable.

Ive found that trimming the zip tie with rounded ended nail clippers helps best. I should own stock in a zip tie company as its my first mod when getting a new car.

I run them on all the vac connections in my rides, and they hold up fine. I would immaginge that if the hose will hold up, the zip ties will too.

Depending on the heat or proximity to a big heat source, IE right on top of the exhaust manifold, they can do get brittle with time, how long, who knows? Just give them a tug once in a while!
