Balancing turbo on rebuild.

Engine: 2.5 bored 0.20
Induct: Turbo
1/4: 13.785

If rebuilding a turbo most people say to balance it. Would this simply require the shaft with the compressor and turbine wheel attached (would look like a little dumbell almost) to be taken to a turbo shop to get them to balance it. Then simply mark the positions of the wheels and nuts and reassemble the shaft and wheels in the center section? Thanks.
