I bought an 88 Daytona shelby z, and was poking around under the hood and found something weird. This is supposed to be a turbo 2 but the Garrett turbo has a blace to bolt on something (which isn't there). I looked on the dodge garage, and there it says this is a turbo 1. What I need to know is how can I identify this engine combo and find out which engine this really is?
Where is the engine vin?

It was originally a T2, but the T1 turbo has me wondering what motor is in it now.
It had an intercooler, I had to buy another one.
