Will a Chrysler swing valve (3" TU) bolt up to a .63 Ford exhaust housing?

Are we sure they are a different bolt pattern? The only bolt pattern that I thought was different was the mounting flange, which in the case of the Ford would be a standard T3 pattern. I believe the SV has 5 bolts just like the Chrysler.

I could be wrong, but seems like that is was I recall.

Chrysler Mitsu have there own bolt pattern, as does Chrysler Garrett. Ford SV's has another bolt pattern. I had to buy a Ford SV for my T3 turbine housing and an elbow so I could use the stock DP from FM!

fyi the ford stuff isnt ford specific, they just ordered a standard T3 from garrett, so most aftermarket non-brand specific parts should fit it.

Sure you can, you by a Ford/Universal SV and then the elbow from FM. Thats what I am and the R/T owners do!

I do not believe the the Chrysler Garrett has its own SV bolt pattern. It is just a standard T3 5 bolt pattern. I do believe the the Mitsu and the Garrett are not interchageable, that is obvious. But the SV on the Ford T3 and the Chrysler T3 should both be 5 bolt and the same pattern.

Speaking of the Forward Motion Ford/Universal elbow. Does anyone know if it would work with a TBI header? Assumeing of course that the turbo has the universal ford 5 bolt pattern.

^ It should still work fine, actually now that I think about it a ford SV might work better than ours fro a TBI header because of firewall clearance.
