i am looking for a BOV for my intercooler conversion on my 88 lebaron. i just need a basic one that will do the job, nothing special or anything like that. are there any cars in a junkyard that would have what im looking for, that would work with my car? also i need some advice on where to put a BOV on my stock intercooler setup.

the best position for a BOV is 6-10 inches straight from the throttle body. this will allow all he air that is forced through the intake to exit befroe it is trown back into the turbo. the air will hit exit there after it hits the butterfly or before it hits it and reduces backpressure buld up on the turbo.

the 1st gen dsm cars have a great bov, but everyone knows that so they are a little hard to get ahold of.
I have found that placement doesnt matter; put it wherever it fits best. Ive had mine mounted just about everywhere in the system and it worked exactly the same in every position.

The second gen DSM's also have an easy BOV to use, comes on a 2.25'' pipe already. It's a plastic one though and only good for about 15 PSI but when I was using one it worked very well. They are also MUCH easier to come by.
Here's a pic, I had a KN filter on it. Also, the stock pipe is like 2 feet long so I cut it down to what you see here-
