ah ok so it is for the air intake mouth.. now on a 89 Voyager 2.5L turbo 1 will I need this or not

Nope, unfortuanly your ride has a mitsubishi turbo on there which is a tiny weenie little turbo. You would need to swap out to a garrett turbo from a tII car, or perhaps a S60 or hybrid depending on what your goals are.

If a new turbo is not in your immediate future, and you just want to IC the car, you could do that and upgrade the turbo later.

Then intercool it. Keeps intake temps more consistant and gives a bit more power due to the fact that cooler air is denser.

You should be able to get a very big deisel IC, or an SRT4 IC for cheap and stuff it in the nose of that thing easy.

It could be from a lot of things. What style flange does it have.
