im getting them to night and i was wondering if i can just put them in with out doing anything?or can i just put them in?and can i put them on with the motor in the car?

what engine the rods are going in to? if its a 2.5 the balance shafts bother alot

it shouldnt be too much trouble, the only thing that made me take out my engine was 1 the balance shafts 2 i had time to do it with patience

What's been done to the rods? Are they reconditioned? If they haven't been checked out I would not put them in the engine. If they aren't reconditioned at least take them to a machine shop and let them look at them, they'll usually look at them for free. Anything else is going to cost you.

If you still have the 2.2 T1 pistons, then they 2.5 rods won't drop in. The 2.2 T1 pistons are pressed pin, the 2.5 rods are floating. You'd need new pistons. If you have 2.2 T2 pistons, the they should drop in...
