Piston Rings

"Stock rings work great as do Sealed Power replacements - Gapless rings have been tried on our cars with generally less then stellar results."

The question is in regard to the Sealed Power replacements. Are these the moly - chrome or the standard cast rings?

they are available in cast and moly.
Cast=N/A
Moly=turbo

You want Moly rings, cast can shatter with detonation or melt with high heat. Any brand is fine, IE Hastings, Sealed Power, stock, Perfect Circle. Gapless DO NOT work, been there done that,

TU has Hastings and FWD has Sealed Power. I'll have to email them and see if they are the moly.

The vendors will sell Moly.

I found the Sealed Power rings locally for $64. These are the moly rings. This is good thing.
