Hi all. I'm thinking about going with a 88 2.5 tall deck motor for my buildup. My question is in the title mostly. I want to stick with a forged crank. But which model year? the 87-88? or the 89 later crank?

Not sure if TD.com save email's sent. I'll see if I can find it or retype it. Check around for it. Maybe it's in your Junk folder or trash. That'd be easier than me trying to remember what I said

cadman, they're gonna be forged with 4 little reliefs cut into them As for the rods a custom rod will be in the bottom end.
