I want to add that the grade stainless needed to be used for the application of being a valve probably requires a grade that is magnetic. Just because something is stainless steel doesn't automatically make it non-magnetic. They use varying degrees of nickle in the alloy depending on the hardness, tensil strength, ect. required...

I'm just saying...

Sorry 'bout that, you just had so many Q's overlapping each other, wasn't sure where to begin. Though it might be a good idea for you to start over, slow it down a bit, maybe a couple related thoughts at a time.

Ferra valves are non-magnetic. SI valves are ok but they are'nt great by any means.

need to do a search on a T2 conversion. There is more involved than just an intake swap and you need to see all of it.

One thing you guys need to do to look for good valves is with a magnet. The bad valves to get are the ones that are 2 piece. This means magnetic half way up the stem, these can melt in half quikly. Look for SS valves where they are magnetic right at the tip. Ferra valves are sweet, they are done right one piece, but don't sell a 2.2 valve. FM uses them and charge $66 a piece for exhaust and use a valve cap. MP uses a 1 piece valve with a hard tip too, I've heard they can't handle the heat. The head also absorbs too much heat. So I coated the head and valves with ceramic. I haven't seen a Si valve up close, so no comment. I have seen a Manley and they are the lame 2 piece design, these things are avoided by NA people lol

I was only posting that becuase I was trying to explain there are different grades of stainless. I have not personally done the needed research to figure out what grade woulde be the best, and whether it would be magnetic.

I do agree that 2-peice valves are not that desirable.

I believe the MP valves were the cheap 3** SS and the Ferras are a 4** SS which is better. Sorry I can't remember the numbers, SS threads for heat are always in the exhaust section lol. It was just cheaper for me to coat the MP valves and I wanted 1 piece. Hope they melt through instead of melt off.
