Check out my new goodies. This is what will be powering 86GLHS #065 down the 1/4 mile next year.........and YES those are LONG RODS :banaride:

Those are custom GRP's from FM and .040 over JE's for a 2.5.

Does somebody produces long rod rods in forged steel for tall 2.5L blocks?

Yes, Call FM they can have the rods made for whatever application you want. You can get custom Eagles or Oliver billet steel.

yea i hear ya, and kinda feel like i abandoned the 8valve.. if and when i ever get another 8v i'll have to make sure its a common block.. forget waisting time with early blocks that flex...
