I've heard both ways on the 89 2.5 CB about the oil pump. I will be taking out the balance shafts and plugging the oil port. All ARP hardware sounds great, but i heard the pump is sufficient. Does anyone have a pro or con argument with replacing the oil pump or for that matter going to a high volume baffled pan? Don't mind spending the money if the value is there.

im going to start building the engine for my turbo 90 dakota project soon, and i'll be running the tII rods with Venolia pistons on a stock crank, im looking at probably running 25psi.
