Do it. I have a stock 2.5 in my car with a glhs IC/radiator combo and a 2.5" exhaust running 15 psi. I drove it for a week then my dad blew it up. lol. But it had tons of torque and was fun as hell! For a DD the 2.5 is awesome. Now Im about a week from getting it goin again and cant wait!!!

Well, the tach didnt work and I didnt really get on it too hard but it felt good. It blew up because we decided to take it for a spin unintercooled because we didnt have any intercooler pipes and my dad mashed the throttle at 15psi from the mitsu and broke a ring land on the number 4 piston.

I dont see why not. Im planning a ported head, bigger cam, ported exhaust manifold, custom intake manifold and a super 60 turbo for the summer and Im hoping it will rev fairly well. I hear a custom intake helps the engine breathe better but Im not sure.

I would go with the 2 piece if your gettting your head ported. The one-piece intake is really a POS and wont flow as good as your head.
